Published on the occasion of Blingness & Insight: Visions From the East, a joint inaugural exhibition of three artists, held at The Rotunda, Exchange Square, Hong Kong, this publication features three artists: Budi Ubrux (b. 1968, Indonesia), Ye Jian Qing (b. 1972, China) and Tse Yim On (b. 1974, Hong Kong). Budi, Jian Qing and Yim On are talented young artists whose works adopt an impressive range of unorthodox techniques. These three inimitable artists are differentiated by the use of personal styles and distinct visual languages in their paintings, even as subject matters portrayed share certain relevance in the broader context.

This publication features a rare selection of 23 paintings showcased at the exhibition. The publication is accompanied by a curatorial essay by Melissa Lam, an independent Art Curator and writer based in Hong Kong.
